The first conversation is usually about getting clear on your actual picture, and that is where I start.
Most people find me because someone they trust told them to call. That says something about how I work. I have been a licensed builder for 25 years and a Realtor for 13, so I bring a perspective to every property that most agents simply cannot. Beyond that, I am honest with my clients even when the honest answer is not what they hoped to hear. I take time to get to know the person, not just the deal. And I treat every client with the same care I would give my own family.
Single-family homes are the heart of what I do, but I also work with condos and townhomes, multi-family properties, mobile and manufactured homes, vacant land, farm and agricultural land, and waterfront properties. My service area covers Kent, Montcalm, Muskegon, Newaygo, and Ottawa Counties.

Before I ever wrote a real estate contract, I spent 25 years building homes with my own hands. I know what goes into a foundation, how to read a roof, and what separates a house built to last from one built to sell. When I made the move to real estate 13 years ago, I brought all of that with me. My clients get a Realtor who can walk every room of a property and tell them exactly what they are looking at.

What drives me in this work is simple: doing what is right for each person who calls me. Not just finding a house, but finding the right home for their needs, their lifestyle, and where they are headed. I take time to get to know people beyond the transaction, because that is the only way to actually serve them well.
